When we have or want to give a gift, we always strive to try to find something that pleases the recipient. In most cases we know the person in question well, so we know how to adjust according to his tastes.
Among the various possibilities is that he likes animals, so we could come up with the wonderful idea of giving him one.

Pets – a very serious gift
It may happen that we have to give a gift or, simply, that our pet has had puppies and we decide to find them a suitable family. Regardless of the reason, the matter is very serious.
There is one exception to note, namely when it comes to our children. In this case, giving him puppies will be an excellent idea, provided that the decision is thought out and not rushed, and that the circumstances are taken into account.

Aspects to consider before giving an animal as a gift
Is this really the perfect gift?
It may be that the person we decide to give a pet to is a great animal lover, maybe he talks about it all the time, but from there to the desire to have one there is a big difference. Put simply, it is not the same thing to say that we like to go on vacation to a place as opposed to wanting to live there.
His circumstances
If you really want to have a pet, and don’t have one yet, there will be a reason. This person may love animals, but may not be able to keep them indoors.
Think hard whether he can really take on the much attention that a new family member requires. Moreover, not everyone has the necessary financial means.
An animal involves a lot of expenses and time to devote to it in attention. If you are not sure that this person will be able to provide you with these fundamental aspects, it will be better if you forget to give him an animal.
A gift for the whole family
It may be that the person you thought of has all the means to care for an animal, as well as wanting one. However, you will also have to think about the rest of the family; some of its members may in fact not like the idea or even be allergic to animals.
It is vital to take this into consideration, as otherwise your gift could end up in a series of family conflicts.
The right animal
Even if the person to whom you are thinking of giving an animal has repeatedly expressed his love for animals, that does not mean that he likes all the existing ones.
Even a person who likes dogs may not like all breeds, so be careful not to make a mistake.
Precipitation
When your pet has had puppies, you may feel suffocated by the presence of numerous pets. But it is also possible that the experience of having an animal is giving you so much satisfaction, that you are starting to think that for others it would be a fantastic adventure too.
However, it is by no means certain that this is the case, and you could even end up compromising friendships by assuming that someone will take care of an animal, with all that it entails having one at home.
Consequences
If a person has to take care of an animal but is not 100% convinced of the decision, the matter is more likely to turn out badly. Thousands of pets are abandoned every year, and in many cases it is the result of gifts that are a little too hasty.
Therefore, if you consider yourself a true animal lover, it would be better that you refrain from giving these kinds of gifts.
When you give someone a valuable item, it’s nice to know that the recipient not only enjoys it, but also appreciates and respects it.
Therefore, if we give an animal as a gift and later learn that it has not been appreciated in the right measure, we could be somewhat embittered. To make sure that doesn’t happen, it’s best to get rid of the idea of giving one as a gift, unless you are completely convinced that you are making a gift that is right.
